They seem very soft and nice, to me, with a little grip on the bottom which is what I wanted. I got them so my son could wear shoes without socks but the back is cutting his ankle so I wouldn't recommend it without socks

Really rounding up from 2.5 here

The good, outstanding outsole. Grippy and durable, I wish Sanuk would put this outsole on all of their shoes.

The bad, very snug fit. Too snug. Maybe it would break in, maybe not, I returned.

Overall, Big fan of Sanuk products, hope to see more Sanuks with this outsole.
