Winter is coming… United by our shared passion for outdoor activities and protecting our happy places, we’ve joined forces with POW a.k.a. Protect Our Winters to support their mission like never before. 

To solve the climate crisis, the world needs the outdoor community. It’s the sum of our small efforts—where we turn our passion into purpose—and deliver climate victories where they’re needed most. POW’s theory of change hinges on the belief that the outdoor community can have an impact on climate solutions through advocacy, civic engagement, and education. 

We’re stoked on POW and you’ll have to wait to see how this beautiful partnership unfolds, but for now it includes a $25,000 annual donation to help us protect our winters!

1. Educate and raise awareness with our audience 

2. Invest in better materials (BLOOM^TM, SugarCane EVA, Hemp, and other plant based fibers).

3. Invest in advancements in sustainable business practices. In partnership with our parent company, Deckers Brands, our Corporate Responsibility Program encourages us to always look at the broader impact of our activities on our consumers, employees, communities and the environment. 
   • As members of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), we have adopted our own sustainable development goals and have identified targets under each of them. We believe our targets will keep us accountable and will help us track our progress and commitment in the categories of Waste, Water, Materials, Chemicals, Climate and Clean Energy, Human Rights, and Gender Equality and Quality Education.

4. Partner with orgs like POW who are mobilizing the outdoor state/community to create policy change at all levels of government. 
5. Prioritize the use of sustainable materials, support climate and clean energy, decrease water consumption and reduce waste and packaging. We aim to offer a lighter step that doesn’t sacrifice style or comfort through our collections like VEG OUT.
